With supplemental Space Grant funding from the NASA Office of STEM Engagement, we are piloting an industry internship program in Summer 2026. We hope to place at least 2 LA college students at each company site: Lockheed at NASA Stennis Space Center in Stennis, MS, Lockheed & Vivace at NASA Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, LA, and Avex in New Iberia, LA. We are also planning a more robust pre-internship support program in anticipation of Summer 2027 interns.
