Abstract:
Designed by undergraduate engineering students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott, Arizona campus, EagleSat is the first CubeSat designed on campus with an agreement with NASA to launch before the end of 2016. EagleSat seeks to test the effect of solar radiation on flash computer memories, as well as how a CubeSat deorbits over time. Testing EagleSat on HASP will allow the team to continue to test all systems for a long duration flight in near-space environment, following tests on HASP in 2013 and 2014.
