One of the main goals of LaSPACE is to promote education in space related fields and engineering. To this end, LaSPACE has sponsored or participated in a number of activities designed to reach beyond the university campus environment to the rest of the state and especially to the K-12 education community. We welcome proposals for outreach programs and activities which fall within LaSPACE Outreach Program Guidelines. In addition, there are many educational materials available for loan to teachers seeking to promote and develop their students' interest in space technologies. To date, 1,000 educators have been directly sponsored through LaSPACE Outreach Programs.
