HASP returned to Ft. Sumner yesterday morning. Attached are a couple of views of the HASP impact site taken by the CSBF recovery crew on the morning of September 12. There was remarkably little damage upon landing. In fact, only two of the arms broke when HASP tipped over on its side. All student payloads have been recovered and are awaiting shipment back to their home institution. I expect that the packages will leave Ft. Sumner within the next day or two.
This has been a fairly successful flight this year and we are looking forward to doing it again in 2010. Applications for the HASP 2010 flight will be due once again in December and we will be releasing the RFP within the next few weeks. Stay tuned to the HASP website.
Cheers, Greg Guzik
