Currently we are in the process of getting HASP ready for flight. At this point Virginia Tech, University of North Dakota / University of North Florida, University of Louisiana - Lafayette, University of Maryland (College Park) and the University of Colorado (Boulder) are integrated and ready to go. Montana State University, West Virginia University and McNeese State University still need to complete integration.
Tomorrow at 10 am (Mountain) the HASP flight requirements meeting will be held. During this meeting we will review all the expectations for the HASP 2009 flight and make sure that necessary hardware, software and procedures are in place. On Thursday we will integration HASP with the CSBF mini-SIP balloon control structure and equipment. Finally on Friday we expect to conduct the HASP "hang test" which is a launch day dress rehearsal and is when we make certain that all systems are operating and communicating correctly.
Next Monday is still the target launch date, but there are no official launch opportunities yet.
