ACES Pilot Program for 2002-2003
Louisiana State University - Baton Rouge

During Spring, 2003 the ACES  students were divided into four teams  as follows;

Team "The Late Ballooners" developing the StuMURD Ultraviolet experiment.

Team "JHK" developing the TIC infa-red & imaging experiment.

Team "FLUX" developing the FRED cosmic ray experiment.

Team "Alpha" developing the OMEGA ozone measurement experiment.

In addition a Tracking Team composed of Baton Rouge and Anderson County HAM radio operators developed the radio beacon and ground logistics necessary to track the balloon during flight and locate the payload for recovery.
