Abstract:
The
payload will examine the effectiveness of different power storage
devices under high-altitude flight conditions.
The charging and discharging characteristics of NiMH, NiCd,
Li Ion and supercapacitors regenerative power system will be
studied. In addition, a
control set of fully charged devices will be flown and the state of
charge of these devices will be examined during post-flight
analysis.
